Having fun applying a little 'makeup' for the day...
These pics were from before church this morning. Now I can always look back at these pictures and say "oh yeah, that's when she looked so cute, but was a terror in church...ohhh..." Any ideas of how to help a 14 month old make it through 3 LONG hours of church without any meltdowns? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated
These pics Nate took the other day while I was working. He made dinner and apparently let Cambria fend for herself. I always wondered what they did all day while I was working. Looks like some yummy fun!
Can't beat the old mac-n-cheese. Looks like the bib is doing a lot of good, huh?
I know these pics are super old, but they are so cute I had to share a few. She had a blast with all the pumpkins.

I just decided to give up. Sundays are the worst days of the week. But also, the most important worst days of the week;). So after a few tearful sundays for several months, i decided that i would get us all ready and dressed, i'd do my best to get ian to take a nap before church(..which usually results in an hour long drive and him finally falling asleep 10 minutes before sacrament meeting begins. so i sit in the car with him in the parking lot for an hour. then i beg him to go to nursery when he wakes up, but he remembers that before he went to sleep we dropped arin off for early meetings and i told ian he could see his daddy when he wakes up, so he insists on my fulfilling that promise. then he refuses to go to class at all. and i sit in the nursing room with him on one leg and tuesday nursing on the other side. and spend the rest of the time in the foyer. until i snap and head home...so i am the most inactive, active member our ward has.) but our kids can never say i didn't take them to church. so my point is this: dont plan on sitting through your meetings. have no expectations. you will get the same blessings for just wrestling your kids into church clothes, ironing your husbands shirt, supporting him in his calling, and sweating your way through chasing your wild toddlers through the halls and bouncing or nursing your screaming infant. if you tend to get sacrament once in a while all the better! me and arin try to alternate weeks. i haven't sat through an entire meeting since tuesday was born ;).
